Thursday marked the 25 anniversary of AutoCAD. Wired magazine ran a brief article summarizing the accomplishments of the software. Personally it was interesting watching the transition from drafting to CAD during the early to mid 90's. I remember draftsman boasting that they could produce sheets faster than any computer jockey. I think that that would be practically impossible today with the amount of data analysis that today's packages can handle.
